74 minute 16x Colour CD-R

This high quality CD-R has a specially coloured polycarbonate layer within the disc, this means that the colour is actually in the disc rather than applied in a thin coating. With its stable dye layer, a multicoloured CD can be written at any speed, up to an amazing 16x*. Each of these discs is capable of storing up to 650MB of data or 74 minutes of your favourite audio from your PC. With 5 distictive colours to choose from, you can file your photos, music or data by colour to suit your mood.

CD-R discs have information literally 'burnt' on to them by laser, which causes a layer in the disc to blister. This blistering is irreversible, hence the discs are WORM (Write Once Read Many), it also means that they cannot be erased or overwritten making your copies incorruptible.

Each Traxdata CD-R undergoes rigorous testing under extremes of heat, humidity and light exposure to ensure its reliability and lifetime storage stability.
